Western Rim’s Hiles Committed To Tree Planting Program
Hiles notes that Western Rim’s eco-friendly initiatives bring needed natural resources to both residents and the indigenous wildlife, with lasting results. The annual plantings are removing roughly 75 tons of carbon dioxide per year, generating enough oxygen for over 6,000 people in that same year. Fast forward a decade, and these same trees will be delivering an annual reduction of 600 tons of carbon dioxide and creating oxygen for 50,000 inhabitants.
